This performance/lecture about my collaboration with Mousa AlNana disrupts the flow, descending into a chaotic rhythm that intertwines histories, memories, and time. As it resists recognition?, its methods underscore the complexity of communication, exposing the challenges and barriers that limit access to knowledge.

“[…] was born at the age of twenty-five and
entered the world with a memory but without a
personal experience to account for it […]”
At Swim - Two - Birds
Flann O’Brien

Our understanding of history shapes our present, even if we haven't directly lived through it. We are
born into a world with memories (histories) but without personal experiences to account for them,
then we form our own memories and then our memories are transformed and are no longer purely
our own (Greenleaf, 2022). This idea resonates with the concept of "hauntology" (Derrida, 1993; Fisher,
2014), emphasizing a non-linear understanding of time, where memories dominate our present reality
without a clear future. DESPITE this lost future, how can we still find value in learning from the past
and shape our actions accordingly?
